Bloomsday 2005: The Scene III

Travis Johnson, who is in the National Guard, walks Bloomsday with his daughter, Danielle, 3, on Sunday. Johnson's unit was activated and served their time in the U.S. doing homeland security duty. Many stopped to thank him for serving, including one teen who said, "Thank you for protecting our country." Jesse Tinsle/The Spokesman-Review
