A demonstrated strength and background in the following is desired for this position:
• Fabrication and assembly of automated equipment and systems.
• Installation and set up of highly accurate components such as linear ways, high speed spindles and drives.
• Electrical power and control wiring.
• PLC's, Remote IO and Buss Level Networking.
• PLC programming (Ladder Logic, PID Loops, etc).
• NI/Lab view or comparable analysis equipment and software.
• Sizing and use of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic motion control and end devices.
Must have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Starting wage is $15.21 with defined progression step increases to $28.12 per hour. This is a first shift position

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF
DUTIES: Coordinates several functional areas of the utility planning process, such as, but not limited to, land use regulations, evaluation of environmental review, NPDES compliance, basin and watershed characterization planning, shorelines and resource protection, stormwater master plan, lake management plans, or information systems, and provides significant experience and high level technical expertise in those functional areas or programs. Administers and oversees the preparation of planning work program components, plans, budget and studies.
Provides immediate oversight, supervision, decision-making, evaluation and training for assigned staff and interns relating to the review of all water resource and environmental aspects of the full range of plans, and in analyzing public policy issues. Establishes goals, budgets, schedules and criteria for assigned projects. Serves as team lead on major projects, overseeing and providing assistance to staff on technical problems, making team assignments, and reviewing work.
Develops, coordinates, and monitors work programs and policy documents for several functional planning areas within the Water Resources Programs. Administers and maintains agreements and contacts with public agencies, funding agencies, and private organizations. Leads and/or coordinates with inter-agency staff the planning design, development and implementation of various planning projects in areas such as physical development, new programs or services, land use, long range plans, and new policies.
As assigned, advises appointed and elected officials on public policy issues, planning procedures, comprehensive and special plans, as well as regulatory ordinances. Communicates and interacts with executives and administrators of other organizations. Participates in intergovernmental committees to analyze, evaluate, and resolve public policy issues.
Oversees and coordinates investigation, analysis, and preparation of documents for public policy issues, planning, environmental review, and community development. Provides technical planning advise or assistance to other departments, or outside groups, as assigned.
Oversees and establishes methodologies for data collection, analysis, and complex studies related to water resource protections and environmental impacts of land use, transportation, and development. Coordinates data collection and processing across multiple functional areas to facilitate a consistent and comprehensive information system.
Scopes and reviews the technical work of consultants, contracting agencies, and other organizations as appropriate. Coordinates and participates in the preparation of planning reports, technical research and analysis of planning and development studies.
Responds to public inquiries with information on the water resource plans and related public policy.

•Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, environmental studies, public administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
•Six years of experience within a planning organization with emphasis on review of complex water resource plans, urban or regional plans, comprehensive plans, environmental review or other facet of environmental planning, at least two years of which are in a supervisory capacity.
•Ability to operate a personal computer with applicable software to successfully perform essential job functions of the position.

Must be able to read and understand construction and machine blue prints, including machine drawings, building construction floor plans, P&ID diagrams, electrical drawings, schematics for pneumatic, gas supply, vacuum and high pressure piping systems. Must be able to understand the proper use of engineering and maintenance documentation required under cGMPs.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required with a minimum of 2 years related experience. 2-year technical degree/training in a related discipline is preferred with 2-4 years experience OR 5-10 years experience in manufacturing or hospital maintenance. Ability to write complex and detailed reports to document work completed.
