About this race: Idaho state senators and representatives are responsible for translating the public will into public policy for the state, levying taxes, appropriating public funds and overseeing the administration of state agencies. They meet each year for a legislative session starting in January and lasting approximately three months. Terms for both the 35 seanators and 70 representatives run for two years.
Constituency: Bonner and Boundary counties.
Salary: $15,646 per year, plus $1,700 annually for office expenditures.
