About this race: Commissioners are responsible for both the overriding policy and day-to-day operations of the county. They represent people in the both the incorporated and unincorporated areas, although they focus on services for those who don't live in cities and towns.
Constituency: The district includes about 150,000 people living in the northeast third of the county, including Deer Park, Mead, Mt. Spokane and portions of north Spokane.
Salary: $75,000 per year
