We are looking for someone with 5-10 years experience in materials management, preferably within a manufacturing environment; four year degree strongly preferred, though substantial work experience plus a two year degree will be considered; five or more years in an ERP/MRP environment; also require someone with experience in lean manufacturing techniques and demand-pull systems (Kanban, VMI, JIT, etc.) APICS and NAPM certification preferred; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.

PROCESS ENGINEER

The successful candidate will address various quality issues in coordination with the Quality department and Quality systems, and identify and implement long-term solutions using Six Sigma and Lean tools. This individual will coordinate the introduction of new products, equipment or components and provide support to the manufacturing lines during implementation. They will ensure BOM's and prints are accurate and properly structured for production, coordinate production line layout with Design for Manufacture and error proofing focus and review new and existing products for standardization with similar products. Knowledge of wet paint, powder coat and porcelain application is desired. The individual we seek should have a degree in engineering or related field, and have some knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, quality and line balancing. One to five years experience is also desired; internship experience is accepted. Project management, including establishing and maintaining project timelines with minimum supervision would be an asset. Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

This individual will be responsible for managing the PFEP (Plan for Every part) system, controlling kanbans and associated signaling methods, and for planning and developing supermarkets and point of use flow stores; also auditing for appropriate inventory levels and signals in a way that maximizes throughput, eliminates stock-outs and improves overall effectiveness of end to end material flow. The individual we seek has a four year degree with 3-5 years experience in Materials or related field or 3-5 years in materials or related field though substantial work experience plus a two year degree will be considered; excellent knowledge of Lean Material handling practices (i.e. Kanban, Pull, etc.). The successful candidate will have a good understanding of MRP, and experience in a company that uses Best Practices in the materials function is preferred. APICS certification desired; advanced Excel and excellent Word skills for spreadsheets, labels, graphs, reports, etc. is required.

Will respond to media

Will provide community outreach by facilitating Tree Top representation at public, social and business events, serving on community boards, working with local charitable organizations and managing Tree Top's charitable donation programs. Will be responsible for organizing and arranging fall grower meetings each year and for maintaining the grower website. Participates in Crisis Management planning. Maintains Tree Top history project. Supervises company outlet store manager. Coordinates company sustainability efforts to increase awareness of the need for a more environmentally sensitive, socially equitable and economically stable culture.

Qualifications: This position requires a four year degree in Communications, Journalism or related discipline with 5+ years experience. Must be a diplomatic, strategic thinker with demonstrated writing, publishing, and public speaking skills. Must have experience with graphic arts, computer skills and experience interacting with the media.
