Leo Marier
Spokane Valley

Private inurnment will be held for Leo Louis Marier, 73. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Marier, a longtime resident of Coeur d'Alene and Spokane Valley, died Sunday.

He was born in St. Paul, Minn., and moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1935. He graduated from IHM Academy and served in the Army.

In 1950 he married Patricia Crowder.

Mr. Marier worked for Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood for 34 years. He was an avid golfer with the Men's Club at Liberty Lake and MeadowWood, where he scored seven holes-in-one.

During the winters he bowled with the Kaiser League.

Survivors include his wife; one son; two daughters; and four grandchildren.
