As part of the Our Kids: Our Business campaign, media sponsor KSPS Public Television in Spokane will present a live community forum. Host Steve Becker will lead a panel discussion on the issues surrounding child abuse and neglect in the Inland Northwest. The program will air 8 p.m. April 22 on Channel 7. One area the forum will focus on is the role of law enforcement. KSPS sat down with Sgt. Dave Van Wormer from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office to get a perspective on what his Sexual Assault Unit detectives face daily.
