Crusader senior John Graham hit a go-ahead lay up with six seconds left and junior Matt Zandbergen blocked the final shot attempt by the Ducks as Northwest Christian capped off their third consecutive state championship.

Balanced offense leads Liberty Bell to third place win

Chris Pynch scored 27 points, but the Mountain Lions had four players score in double figures to hold off Riverside Christian 58-49 in the consolation third/sixth place game at the Spokane Arena.

The Vikings got the win that mattered most. After losing to the Panthers twice during the regular season, they beat their league rivals 60-46 in the third-place game.

Mules run away with fourth place

Wahkiakum seniors Josh Rongey and Hayden Miles teamed up for 12 and 23 points, respectively in the Mules 67-49 consolation victory against an overmatched Darrington squad in the fourth/seventh place game at the Spokane Arena.

Tribute to Indiana Basketball

The White Pass girls' team are rocking the striped warm-up pants here at the Arena. They seem to be taking a page out of the Indiana basketball program who also wears striped warm-ups. The Orange Crush are looking sharp in them.

Warriors win nailbiter in trophy round

It took the Warriors 11 tries to place at the state tournament but they finally did so with a 48-43 victory over the Mountain Lions for a fourth-place finish.

Defense leads Toutle Lake to championship game

Lind-Ritzville can't overcome turnovers, Liberty Bell

Sophomore Bailey Bradshaw nailed a short jumper and fellow sophomore Shelby Scott converted three free throws down the stretch to help the Mountain Lions pull away in the final quarter and beat Lind-Ritzville 36-27 in a consolation game at the Arena.

Dragons can’t keep beat as they fall to Grizzlies, 42-39

There were no late-game heroics this time for the Dragons. Riding high after sophomore Jordan Dickson’s 3-pointer won yesterday’s contest against Life Christian Academy, St. George’s faltered from the field and was eliminated by the Grizzlies.
